Casual Catering Assistant (Night time)

We are currently seeking to recruit ‘Catering Assistants’ to join our growing team within the Social Enterprise department.

Our catering department covers all the catering outlets within the Students’ Union. In this role you will be working across our ‘JCs Kitchen & Humpit outlet’ To be successful in this role you will need to have an ability to work well under pressure and be able to work cooperatively within a team.

As a ‘Catering Assistant’ you will be part of a team of staff working a varied role from working in our JCs kitchen assisting with prepping, cooking, presenting, and serving a range of food items, as well as being part of the team who work serving customers in our ‘Humpit outlet’.

Please note that this role requires working exclusively during night-time hours. The successful candidate must be available for night shifts.

The role is offered as casual on LSU Casual Scale (currently £11.44 per hour, plus 12.07% holiday pay supplement). Working unsociable hours will be part of this role. Our trading patterns are seasonal, reflecting University term times. Please note that this role requires working exclusively during night-time hours. The successful candidate must be available for night shifts.

Training will be provided for all successful applicants at the LSU Main Building, dates will be discussed at the interview. You will need to ensure you are available for these dates.
