We are currently seeking to recruit ‘Daily Grind Assistants’ to join our growing team within the Social Enterprise department.

The Daily Grind sits within our Catering Team and is our Student Coffee Shop, proudly serving the Starbucks drinks range, as well as a range of food including sandwiches, paninis, cakes, and pastries. To be successful in this role you will need to have an ability to work well under pressure and be able to work cooperatively within a team.

As a ‘Daily Grind Assistant’ you will be part of a team of staff working within our Catering Department, specifically in our Daily Grind outlet, in a customer focused role.

The role is offered as casual on LSU Casual Scale (currently £11.44 per hour, plus 12.07% holiday pay supplement). Working unsociable hours will be part of this role. Our trading patterns are seasonal, reflecting University term times and this will also be reflected in shift patterns.

Training will be provided for all successful applicants in the Union Building on Sunday 2^nd June, please ensure you are available on this date before applying.
