We are recruiting for a small pool of casual staff to join our Facilities team as domestic service technicians, to assist and support the cleaning, and housekeeping standards of the building.

Although the hours and shifts for this position are varied and offer flexibility, we are seeking candidates who will be covering our ‘Afternoon’ Shifts, which will range between 3pm & 7pm Monday to Sunday. Additional shifts and hours will be available throughout the year to support key events and entertainments, such as Open Days, graduation week, and special entertainments.

In this role, the key duties will be to focus on the cleaning and upkeep of our main SU building, in particular the daytime operational areas, focusing on keeping the areas tidy and clean, emptying bins, and washroom areas. Full training and induction will be given to the successful candidates.

This position is offered on LSU Scale 2, point 3 (£12.05 per hour, plus holiday pay @ 12.07%).
