We are on the hunt for a Student Marketing Assistant with loads of creativity to join our energetic Marketing team. If you're the right fit, you'll be a key player in helping us to spread the word about our services, events, and projects to students and beyond. Working in marketing at LSU is anything but dull – one day you might be crafting a campaign, and the next, you could be covering an evening event for our social media or scrambling around online trying to find 700 rubber ducks for an event. Our Marketing and Communications Team operates as a central service to all departments within Loughborough Students’ Union. This gives us a lot of variety in what we do; one day we could be working on the Freshers Ball promotion with our nightclub team, and the next day collaborating on a mental health campaign with our Welfare & Diversity Section. We’re responsible for the marketing, promotions, and communications of every aspect of Loughborough Students’ Union, including web, social media, graphic design, insight, email, print and video!

Our 19,000 student members are at the heart of what we do, so we aim to always deliver engaging and on trend content for our audience.

The role is offered as casual on LSU Casual Scale (currently £12.21 per hour, plus 12.07% holiday pay supplement). Our trading patterns are seasonal, reflecting University term times and this will also be reflected in shift patterns.
